My Son And I
by Your Loving Mom (Gail)
We walked together, Michael and I
Michael and I had hopes and dreams
for tomorrow
But tomorrow never came.
We walked together, Michael and I
we laughted, we talked, we loved.
We shared so many happy times
And for that I thank God above
We walked together, Michael and I
But for a short time
For all to soon it ended.Leaving
my broken heart behind.
I miss him more than words can say
I thank God I got to walk with him
each and everyday.
